Robotic Bending
Robotic bending uses programmed movements to form metal parts with repeatable angles and consistent results.
CNC Machining
CNC machining is a computer-controlled manufacturing process that uses programmed tools to precisely cut, drill, and shape materials into high-quality components.
We run [F06] CNC and VMC machines between the four units, working from bar stock and from our own forgings and castings. Largest envelope is [F07] and we hold [F08] as standard across production. The cell is set up for high-mix work, so a short run of an awkward part is routine here.
VMC Machining
VMC machining (Vertical Machining Center) is a precision manufacturing process that uses vertically oriented computer-controlled cutting tools to perform milling, drilling, and boring operations.
Multi-axis milling, drilling and boring on vertical centres, used both for production parts and for cutting our own molds and dies in the tool room. Largest envelope [F07].
CNC Pipe Bending
CNC pipe bending is a computer-controlled manufacturing process used to bend pipes and tubes with high accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.
Multi-axis bending for frames, rails and tubular assemblies, to [F10]. Because tube milling and welding run in the same unit, a bent tube goes straight into notching and then into a weld fixture without leaving the building.
Power Press
A power press is a mechanical machine tool used to cut, bend, punch, and shape sheet metal by applying high pressure through dies. Known for its speed, accuracy, and efficiency,
Blanking, piercing and forming of sheet parts, with dies made in our own tool room. Used where volume justifies hard tooling rather than laser cutting.
CNC Sheet Bending
Press braking and forming, with repeatable bends that feed straight into welding.
CNC Tube Milling
Drilling, slotting, notching and end profiling of tube.
Welding and Assembly
Robotic and manual welding within in-house assembly.
Deburring and Tapping
Secondary operations done in line rather than sent out.
CNC Laser Cutting
CNC laser cutting is a computer-controlled manufacturing process that uses a high-powered laser beam to cut, engrave, or shape materials with extreme precision. It delivers smooth edges, intricate designs, and consistent quality
Bed size [F09], cutting sheet and plate with no hard tooling, so a design change costs a file rather than a die. Suited to prototypes, low volume and complex profiles.
Wire Cut
Wire cut, also known as Wire EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining), is a precision machining process that uses a thin electrically charged wire to cut complex shapes and fine details in hard metals.
Wire EDM for profiles and tight-tolerance detail that cannot be milled, used mainly in our tool room for die details and also available on customer parts.
Robotic Grinding & Polishing
We use programmed robots to grind and polish parts instead of doing it all by hand. Once a part is set up, the robot repeats the exact same motion on every piece, so the finish comes out even and consistent, with no difference from one worker to the next. This keeps quality the same right across a batch, even on large orders, and handles awkward shapes that are hard to polish evenly by hand. It also speeds up production and gives a cleaner, more uniform finish from the first part to the last.
