A part that arrives damaged, corroded or unlabelled costs you more than a part that arrives late. Packing is specified at the quotation stage, not decided on the loading dock.

Export and Sea Freight Packing

Bulk packing combines multiple products in a carton or container for efficient storage, handling and transport, reducing packaging material while protecting parts in transit.

Parts are packed for the journey they are actually making. Cartons, crates and pallet specifications are set against the shipping mode and transit time, and the pack is specified on the quotation so there is no surprise at the far end.

VCI and Corrosion Protection

Machined and plated parts are protected with VCI film, desiccant or oil as the material and transit require. Sea freight to the US east coast puts a part in humid air for weeks and unprotected steel does not survive it.

Returnable Containers and Dunnage

Where you supply a returnable bin, tray or dunnage specification, we pack to it. Where you want us to develop one, our tool rooms make the fixtures. Parts then feed straight onto your line instead of being re-handled on arrival.

Kitting and Sub-Assembly Packing

Multi-part kits are assembled, counted and packed here, so what you receive is a complete set per carton rather than five separate part numbers to marry up in your stores.

Labelling to Your Part Numbering

Cartons and inner packs are labelled with your part number, your barcode format and your revision level. We print to your artwork, not to ours.

Container Loading and Consolidation

Loading is planned and photographed before the doors close, and orders across multiple part numbers are consolidated into one container where that is cheaper for you. We are C-TPAT registered, which helps keep our containers moving through US customs rather than sitting in secondary inspection.
